Hainan's first international professional service agency settled successfully.

May 18th: the Haikou Municipal Government and PricewaterhouseCoopers signed a cooperation agreement, the two sides will cooperate in attracting investment and creating an international resource connection platforms. PwC is the first international professional service agency to settle in Hainan.

Before the signing ceremony, Governor Shen Xiaoming met with PricewaterhouseCoopers Asia Pacific and Greater China Chairman Zhao Baiji. The Governor stated that "We are very happy that PricewaterhouseCoopers has settled in Hainan, we will create favorable conditions for them to operate in the Hainan Free Trade Zone. It is hoped that PricewaterhouseCoopers will help Hainan attract more international market players and provide more outstanding Hainan students with high-end jobs".

Pursuant to the agreement, PricewaterhouseCoopers will register as a solely foreign-owned company in Hainan Free Trade Zone in Haikou, and jointly establish an international high-end office center, an international innovation and R&D headquarters, and an international education service platform jointly with internationally renowned property developers in the downtown area of ​​Haikou to form a demonstration and model area for the comprehensive development of the global city.
