There’s definitely a kitesurfing scene in Hainan. Bo’ao is probably the main hub, but Qing Shui Bay in Lingshui is also a recognised kite spot, so you’re not far from the action. Here’s a China Daily article on it: Hainan rides the wave of a kitesurfing boom.

For equipment, it may be easier to speak to a Hainan-based shop rather than trying to buy directly from a factory. Hui Ning Kiteboarding in Bo’ao has a kite shop, rentals and storage, and should be able to help put together a complete package suited to your weight, experience and the local conditions.

I couldn’t find a mainland factory I’d confidently recommend for a genuine A-to-Z package.

Anyone here riding around Lingshui or Fuli Bay?

We have one bachelor apartment in Sanya at Vanque Development right behind the college. We have two bachelors in Fuliwan Lingshui which overlook the sea They are up high, maybe 13th floor. We have a ground floor three bedroom with a yard and a two-bedroom 7th floor which overlooks the beach and the Marriott Hotel.

Fuliwan is a private development with 3 1/2 km of nice sandy beach. They built a marina for yachts, sailboats, and fishing boats. It has tennis courts, basketball and badminton gym, and an exercise gym, and several restaurants and hotels on the gated property. Security is not an issue for bicycles.

We also have a two-bedroom walk-out self contained apartment in our own house with a yard. We only rent that one when we are there. There are at least three swimming pools. Gang Po village is a 2-3 km walk and they have an outdoor market every day there. Haircuts $2 from street vendor.

If you go to the marina you can buy fish from the fishermen when the boats come back. Lingshui, 150,000 people, is an 11 km bike ride or there are plenty of busses. Waves too small for surfing but beach good for kitesurfing. 

I don't get involved in pricing or collecting money. She handles all that and it all depends on what month, which apartment, for how long, etc, etc. People pay her on WeChat.

Opening a dental clinic in Haikou is possible, but the exact route depends on who will own the clinic, who will act as the responsible dentist, and what services you intend to provide.

For a standard dental clinic, China now generally operates a clinic filing system rather than the old pre-approval licensing system. The clinic must be filed with the relevant district-level health authority before operating, and it must meet the national standards for dental clinics. The person establishing the clinic, or the clinic’s principal medical practitioner, normally needs the required medical qualifications and at least five years of registered practice experience. 

The filing normally includes details such as the clinic premises and floor plan, proof of ownership or lease, the responsible person’s identity and professional qualifications, staffing, equipment and intended scope of practice. Dental clinics are also subject to specific infection-control and medical-quality requirements. 

There will also be the normal business-registration, premises, tax and related compliance requirements.

One important point: if this is intended to be a foreign-invested clinic, joint venture, or a clinic involving foreign dentists, the national rules specifically state that Sino-foreign joint/cooperative clinics are governed under separate provisions. 

If you can provide a little more information, whether the owner would be Chinese or foreign, whether you already have a qualified dentist in China, and whether you mean a small dental clinic or a larger dental hospital/medical institution, it would be possible to point you towards the relevant Haikou procedure.
