Flea markets are popular the world over, and no less so in Haikou.
The Bund flea market is no longer open every weekend, they share the space with other (mostly wood) markets. They only open every other weekend, but it’s still a great way to spend a few lazy hours on a Saturday or Sunday morning.
The flea market is a space for vendors to sell second hand used goods, collectibles, antiques and vintage items.
Vendors range from hobbyists to professionals dedicated to their stalls.
You can find everything from jade to wooden carvings, coins, plants, books, jewellery, incense and much, much more.
Sunday morning is the busiest time, and if you do intend to buy something, don’t forget to haggle.
