Main responsibilities and tasks:

(1) Undertake the comprehensive management affairs of the party's grass-roots organization construction, secretarial secrets, personnel and political work, labor wages and benefits, social insurance, financial management, safety, technology, asset management, and logistics support.

(2) To undertake the quarantine and inspection work of pest quarantine and identification, genetic modification inspection and plant species resource identification in entry and exit plants and their products in the customs area.

(3) Organizing and implementing the isolation and quarantine of plant propagation materials in and out of the country.

(4) Develop scientific research standards, technology development and services for entry and exit quarantine.

(5) Undertake other tasks assigned by Haikou Customs.
