It is essential that you have teaching experience in these areas.

Ideally, you will have experience living and working in Asia, and the ability to work with students for whom English is not their first language. Teaching will be conducted in the English language.

Who are we?

The University of Waikato has an agreement with Hainan University (HNU), a key university in the eponymous island province, to deliver a joint programme yielding a University of Waikato Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree. At the completion of the programme, students will also receive a bachelor’s degree from HNU.

Why should you apply for this position?

A competitive benefits package is on offer for the appointee (and partner and dependent children where relevant) which includes either on-campus accommodation or a contribution towards off-campus rented accommodation, contributions towards relocation and international school and pre-school tuition fees, payment for a work visa, medical insurance costs and one return economy airfare per annum to return to home country, if border restrictions allow.
