A. Microchip15-digit ISO compatible microchip for all countries, which is the world's standard.After inserting the microchip, please secure the microchip label in the vaccination book to include the veterinarian's signature, the date and the clinic official red seal.Scan the microchip to assure it's working.

B. Vaccination book showing:* DHLPP vaccine for dogs and FVRCP for cats.* Rabies vaccine* Clinic red seal, date of vaccination, veterinarian's licence number, name and signature.*Owner and pet information in English. Owner's name as noted on passport.*Please check with the destination country to view any additional required vaccinations.

C. Veterinarian's health certificate might be required by airlines and airports' customs. Stool test and complete blood count test. Oral or topical fleas, ticks and intestinal worm treatment.5-10 days before departure depending on the destination country. Done in Haikou.COST of stool test, blood test, and parasite treatment should not exceed RMB500-600.

D. Intercity/transit document required by airlines to travel within China - 5 days before departure. * DHLPP vaccine for dogs and FVRCP for cats.* Rabies vaccine
* Clinic red seal, date of vaccination or microchip , veterinarian's license number, name and signature.

Both vaccines at least 30 days before departure but no more than 12 months before departure.

B. Veterinarian's health certificate. Stool test and complete blood count test. Dogs and cats must receive appropriate treatment for both internal and external parasites.

This includes administering medication for fleas and ticks, as well as treating against internal parasites such as tapeworms, heartworms, hookworms, etc.5-10 days before departure depending on the destination country.COST of stool test, blood test, and parasite treatment should not exceed RMB500-600.

C. Intercity document required by airlines to travel within China. You need vaccination book, veterinarian's health certificate, owner's passport, flight itinerary and your pet.

D. Most countries require a rabies titer test certificate issued by a Chinese government laboratory.You must wait at least 30 days after the rabies vaccination to draw blood to send to the Guangzhou Government Laboratory (if you live in Hainan) for the titre test certificate.

Results in 7 days.Request a hard copy and adigital copy.​Your pet can travel 3 months from the date that the blood was drawn.Haikou clinics can draw blood and send it to Guangzhou.

E. Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Animal Health Certificate issued by a Chinese government office for your pet to exit China.You need original and one copy of vaccination book, veterinarian's health certificate, owner's passport, flight itinerary and your pet.Valid for 14 days from issuance date.

If your dog is traveling to the U. S. you need an import permit issued by CDC.You need to apply online 2 months before departure.

G. For your pet to enter other destination countries, you must apply for an import permit. 7 days, 1-2 months before departure depending on the destination country.

Starting on August 1, 2024, all dogs entering the U.S.A. must:

🐾 Appear healthy upon arrival🐾 Be at least 6 months old

🐾 Be microchipped. Make sure the microchip number is listed in all veterinary records

🐾 Be vaccined with the rabies vaccine and DHLPP vaccine🐾 Have a vaccination certificate with the dog complete veterinary information, clinic red seal, vet's license number, name and signature.

🐾 Be accompanied by a CDC Dog Import Permit Form online submission receipt.Make sure the itinerary has the dog's first point of arrival in the U.S. at the airport with the CDC-registered animal care facility where the dog has reservation that is printed on the CDC Dog Import Form receipt.Make sure you have the dog reservation confirmation for the CDC-registered animal care facility

Please check the banned dog breed.Go to the destination country Department of Livestock, or Animal Quarantine Station, or pet travel government website.

H. Some countries like Thailand will require a veterinarian's rabies vaccine certificate stating the pet and owner information, microchip number, date of inoculation, vaccine label number, how long the vaccine lasts, clinic information and red seal, veterinarian's name and license number.************Your pet must travel in IATA standard travel crates with water bottle and food tray.

Zip ties to secure the water bottle.

Size according to your pet measurements. Pet sheet or absorbable mat to soak up urine. For long haul flight, a zip bag with food secured to the crate with zip ties.Please check for destination country possible mandatory quarantine.Book your flight early as airlines have limited pet boarding in-cabin or cargo.

TIPS PET TRAVEL TIPS

Even though your destination country doesn't require a titre test certificate issued by a government laboratory, you will need a titre test if you have a layover requiring your pet to be deboarded in a country that requires a titre test certificate.

Freeze water in a large bowl for your pet to have enough water for the whole flight and to prevent spills.Travel during mild weather or re-route your flight throught another city. Airlines won't allow pets in the cargo area when the weather is too hot or cold.
