If you hold a Class A or B talent card and want to enroll your children in compulsory education schools in Hainan, each case will be handled individually through a process called “one discussion for one case.” This means your family’s situation will be reviewed personally to find the best solution.

For Class C, D, and E talents enrolling their children in first grade of primary or middle schools, the local education authorities will help arrange for your children to attend a public school near your home. This follows the local school enrollment plan and the principle of “exam-free admission to the nearest school.”

If Class C, D, and E talents want to transfer their children to other grades (not first grade) in primary or middle schools, they should apply to the education department in the city or county where they live. The local education office will then help find a suitable nearby public school for the transfer.
