ESL Teacher Responsibilities:
- Provide instructions in the courses assigned according to the requirements for the Maple Leaf ESL Curricula.
- Assist with the supervision of students as required by the school, including morning reading sessions, tutorial sessions and during school activities or events.
- Manage the classroom effectively, maintain good classroom discipline, support the discipline standards and rules of the School.
- Contribute to the School’s extra-curricular program organizing at least one English club of 2 blocks per week.
- Participate in school English activities, MLES marketing and student recruitment activities.
- Participate in professional development activities.
ESL Teacher Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 2 years full time teaching experience preferred
- 120 hours TESOL/TEFL/CELTA Certificate or Teaching license issued by Ministry of Education
