Shanghai Arete Bilingual School is looking for 2 Middle School English Teachers. Qualification Required are Bachelors with a Salary Offer of CNY 30k-40k/month.
Job Responsibilities:
- To teach the curriculum established by the school, integrating the curriculum with the school’s Educational Objectives;
- To take the responsibility of designing lesson plans that demonstrate a clear connection between instruction and the curriculum established by the school, selecting and using school-approved teaching strategies and classroom resources, implementing teaching research;
- To provide a stimulating and effective learning environment for the students in supporting their learning, encouraging students’ creative thinking and promote critical inquiry;
- To maintain close partnership with parents, colleagues and the community;
- To provide both written reports (termly) and informal communications (where required) to parents on the growth, progress, and attainment of the students;
- To Create a safe, orderly and supportive classroom atmosphere that is conducive to effective teaching and learning;
Other duties as reasonably required by the Head of Primary / Middle School;
Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education preferred
- Teaching qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ full time teaching experience
- ESL experience is desirable, experience with Chinese students preferred
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Ability to work as a part of a team in planning and implementing the school’s curriculum, strategic plans and policies
- Strong interests in leading extra-curricular program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Personal integrity and professional ethics
