Hainan Airlines will use Boeing 737-800s on the new route

Hainan Airlines launched a new direct flight route between Haikou and Tokyo Narita, starting February 3rd, 2025. This is the first non-stop service connecting Haikou, to Japan, which is expected to enhance travel options for both inbound and outbound passengers.

  • Route: Haikou (HAK) to Tokyo Narita (NRT)
  • Frequency: Once a week on Mondays
  • Cost: 2,029 RMB
  • Flight Schedule:
    • HU791: Departing Haikou at 7:55 AM, arriving in Tokyo at 1:30 PM
    • HU792: Departing Tokyo at 2:35 PM, arriving in Haikou at 8:15 PM
  • Aircraft: Boeing 737-800, configured with two classes (8 business class seats and either 156 or 162 economy class seats depending on the configuration).

The new direct flight service is expected to boost tourism between Japan and Hainan, making it easier for Japanese travellers to experience the island’s tropical climate, diverse attractions, and unique culture.
