Discover Longquan Temple in Yanfeng, Haikou

Completed on March 14th, 2016, Longquan Temple in Yanfeng, a town with a thousand years of history, covers about 20 acres. The temple is carefully designed to blend in with the natural landscape, facing southward from the north.

Mei She River Park

The Mei she river Feng Xiang wetland park covers an area of around 200 acres and is capable of treating 5,000 tons of wastewater from the Mei she river each day. There are around 70,000 acres of wetland space in Haikou and 800,00 acres of wetlands throughout Hainan.

Holiday Beach Hot Springs

The hot springs are located on bin hai da dao which is right next to holiday beach. There are a few outdoor hot springs around Haikou, but this is the only one next to the beach.

Five Officials Temple

The Temple of the five lords also more commonly known as "Temple of the Five Officials" is a memorial shrine to five Officials who were exiled to Hainan during the Tang and Song Dynasty. The Temple of the five lords is an impressive array of ancient buildings offering a peaceful escape from the city, within the city.

Guilin Yang Zoo

It's not a large zoo-like London, New York or Dublin but a nice, small, well maintained, well worth a visit zoo that will take a casual stroller about 90 minutes to get around.

Haikou Fort

Located in the Xiuing district of Haikou the fort was constructed in the 17th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign (1891) during the Qing Dynasty to resist a threatened invasion by the French.
