Completed on March 14th, 2016, Longquan Temple in Yanfeng (a town with a thousand years of history), covers about 20 acres. The temple is carefully designed to blend in with the natural landscape, facing southward from the north.
Its central feature is the Great Hero Hall, creating a cross-shaped layout. The Mountain Gate, Manjushri Hall, Heavenly Kings Hall, Great Hero Hall, and Dharma Hall line up along the main axis.

During the foundation excavation, two cold springs emerged, leading to the temple being named Longquan Temple, translating to “Dragon Spring” in English. The temple’s architecture follows ancient Buddhist construction styles, resembling the Qing Dynasty era.

The statues inside are crafted from gold-painted bronze, adding a touch of vividness to the spiritual ambiance.

Longquan Temple sits in Yanfeng Town, Meilan District, Haikou City, next to the Meilan Golf Course. It’s a place where history meets tranquillity—a simple haven for those seeking a quiet connection with nature and spirituality.
