Big news for music fans in Hainan: Katy Perry is coming to Haikou!
She’ll be performing at Wuyuanhe Stadium on Saturday, Nov 29, 2025, as part of her Lifetimes Tour. This will be her first show on the Chinese mainland in nearly 10 years, and Haikou is the final stop of her China tour.

The stadium itself is impressive — seating over 41,000, with ocean views from the western side and a design that’s perfect for Haikou’s tropical climate.
The Lifetimes Tour has been described as a futuristic, theatrical show, with Perry battling a giant AI character, flying stunts, and fan-favorite hits like Roar, California Gurls, Teenage Dream, and Firework.
For Haikou (and Hainan in general), this is another huge step in drawing international acts after big shows like Kanye West in 2024, which boosted local tourism and put the island on the global entertainment map.
