Hainan Launches 2025 Science & Tech Commissioner Program to Boost Rural, Business, and Healthcare Innovation
Hainan has opened applications for its 2025 Science & Technology Commissioner Program, an initiative aimed at bringing practical tech solutions to rural communities, local businesses, and primary healthcare institutions. Funded by the provincial government, the program offers RMB 100,000 for individual projects and RMB 300,000 for team efforts, with a focus on real-world impact and long-term development.
The application deadline is 5:00 PM on October 25.
The program targets three key sectors: rural revitalization through agricultural R&D and training, enterprise services to drive innovation and collaboration, and healthcare improvements at the grassroots level.
