Flora’s International Early Education and Nursery Centre has emerged as a driving force behind the impressive advancements in early childhood development education and care in Hainan Province. Through transformative initiatives, Hainan is charting a course to become a leading province in delivering comprehensive and high-quality education and care to its youngest citizens.

On May 27th, the “Exchange and Sharing Meeting on Safe Operation and Management of Infant and Toddler Care and Education in Hainan Province” was jointly organized by Renmin University of China’s Child Early Development and Education Research Centre, Hainan Vocational and Technical College’s School of Arts, and Flora’s International Early Education and Care Centre. The event took place at Hainan Vocational and Technical College.

Distinguished speakers at the conference included Dr. Yan Ping, Associate Professor of Education at Renmin University of China and Deputy Director of the Early Child Development and Education Research Centre. Also in attendance were representatives from the Health Commission of Haikou City, Qiongshan District, vocational colleges, and childcare companies from various cities and counties, bringing the total number of participants to over 150. The gathering served as a platform for discussing fresh ideas and the future development of childcare in Hainan.
During the exchange meeting, Dr. Yan Ping delivered a keynote speech on “Practical Safety and Care in Childcare Centres: Hazards and Prevention.” Professor Cao Huirong from Hainan Tropical Ocean College, Professor Zhang Xuefen, Director of the Infant and Toddler Care Service and Management Department at Hainan Vocational and Technical College, and Ms. Wu Xiaohua from Flora International Early Education and Care Centre shared their experiences in cultivating high-quality childcare professionals and implementing safe operation and management practices.
The meeting centered on the current landscape, future trends, job requirements, and training objectives in the childcare industry, fostering vibrant discussions on talent development, safe operation and management, and the establishment of a secure environment.

The objective of the exchange meeting was to drive the progress of the childcare industry in Hainan Province, enhance the training of childcare professionals, foster stronger communication and collaboration between childcare institutions in cities and counties and vocational colleges, promote fresh concepts for the healthy growth of childcare services, and elevate the quality and standards of childcare in Hainan. This event serves as a vital platform for communication and exchange, supporting the healthy expansion of the childcare industry in the province.
