Hainan University and Hainan Jinshengda Flower Industry held a school-enterprise cooperation signing ceremony on February 16.
Luo Qingming, president of HNU, and Zhuang Zhiyong, chairman of Hainan Jinshengda Flower Industry, attended the ceremony.
Hainan Jinshengda Flower Industry will provide HNU with 30 mu (2 hectares) of land for the planning, design, and construction of agricultural industrial parks.
Luo pointed out that HNU would make full use of its disciplinary and professional resources to provide technical support and consultation for Hainan Jinshengda Flower Industry.
Luo hoped that the two sides will actively carry out scientific research cooperation on Hainan’s key industries, especially industries related to tropical agriculture, so as to realize complementary advantages.
Zhuang said that the company will promote the research and development of Hainan Agricultural Industrial Park and facilitate the transformation of the scientific and technological achievements for the development of HNU related disciplines.
