Sitting just a few steps away from Xixiu Beach in Haikou, Guanhai Coffee offers a nice escape for beach lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike. Its open-air setting and comfortable outdoor seating provide a nice backdrop for enjoying the sea breeze and listening to the waves.
At 38 yuan a cup, the coffee is not exceptional, the real draw here is the view of Xixiu Beach and the South China Sea, with the sounds of the waves lapping at the shore.
In the mornings, the café is quiet, allowing for a peaceful start to the day and a good spot to get some work done on your laptop, but it picks up in the evenings as locals and tourists flock to the beach.
Don’t expect too much from the menu!
