According to reports, this is the first time this event is being hosted in Haikou, and it is expected to attract beach volleyball players from over 30 countries worldwide.
China’s national beach volleyball team will send its top players to compete, including Xue Chen and Xia Xinyi, both of whom won gold medals at the Hangzhou Asian Games, as well as Hainan-born player Lin Meimei.
The World Beach Volleyball Professional Tour is one of the top international beach volleyball competitions under the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and is also an important event for accumulating points for the beach volleyball competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
During the event, the organizing committee will also host a series of vibrant activities, including a beach music carnival, beach lifestyle festival, and water sports activities.
