5th China International Consumer Products Expo: A Global Showcase in Hainan

The 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), a premier platform for global trade and consumer trends, is set to take place from April 13 to 18, 2025, in Haikou. Co-hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Hainan Provincial Government, this annual event will once again bring together top brands and cutting-edge innovations from across the globe.

A Hub for Innovation and Trade

This year’s CICPE will focus on sectors that align with China’s innovation priorities, offering a glimpse into the future of consumer technology and lifestyle. Key areas of focus include:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI): Featuring advancements from tech leaders like Huawei and iFLYTEK.
  • Low-Altitude Aviation: Highlighting drones and innovative aviation technologies.
  • Smart Vehicles: Showcasing electric and intelligent vehicles from top brands.
  • Digital Health: Exploring the latest in health-tech solutions.

In addition to these technological highlights, the expo will feature a wide range of consumer goods, including home appliances, beauty products, outdoor equipment, food and beverages, luxury items, and more.

Expanded International Participation

The 2025 CICPE will see an increase in global participation:

  • The United Kingdom has been named the guest country of honor.
  • New delegations from Slovakia, Brazil, and Singapore will join the event for the first time.
  • Multinational giants such as Estée Lauder, Volkswagen, and others will showcase their products.
  • Domestic exhibitors will also present premium local products to a global audience.

Venues Across Hainan

The main venue for the expo is the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center in Haikou. Additional activities will take place at duty-free shopping complexes in Haikou and Sanya. A special yacht exhibition is planned for Sanya, adding a luxurious touch to the event.

Why Attend?

CICPE is not only China’s sole national-level consumer products expo but also the largest consumer goods exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region. It provides a unique platform for:

  • Connecting global brands with Chinese markets.
  • Facilitating trade partnerships through tailored matchmaking sessions.
  • Showcasing new product launches on an international stage.

In its previous edition in 2024, CICPE attracted over 370,000 visitors, including more than 55,000 professional buyers, and featured 4,019 brands from 71 countries. The 2025 event promises to be even larger and more impactful.
