Award-winning hotel brand Novotel debuts in Haikou

Novotel debuts in Haikou, and is expected to quickly become a favourite on the island. The 141-room Novotel Haikou Xinbudao offers ocean views and easy access to city’s attractions.

Located on Xinbu Island, a newly developed area in the northeast part of Haikou city, the hotel is a 40-minute drive from Haikou Meilan International Airport and 90 minutes from Sanya by high-speed train. Haikou’s scenic spots, including Five Ancestral Temple, East Harbour Mangrove Nature Park and Baishamen Park are easily reached from the hotel.

Gary Rosen, Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of AccorHotels Greater China, said, “As the first Novotel in Hainan province and the brand’s 27th hotel in Greater China, Novotel Haikou Xinbudao is opening at the right time when Haikou is set for a starring role in recently-announced plans for the island’s transformation into China’s largest free-trade zone, which will fuel Hainan’s development and bring substantial new business opportunities.”

Traditional Cantonese, Sichuan and local Hainan cuisine, in addition to local and international buffets, are on offer at Square. Guests can also choose to unwind over drinks and snacks in a classic setting at the Lobby Lounge. Recreation facilities include a tennis court, outdoor swimming pool, kids’ club and the signature In Balance fitness centre.
