The Bund Haikou is quickly becoming one of the hottest spots in town. Stunning views of Century bridge, top bars & restaurants, and a running/walking track along the river are just some of the reasons you may want to go check it out.

The natural cold spring is located within Jiuwentang village in Ding'an County, some 80 kilometres south of downtown Haikou and it's the perfect place to beat the summer heat.

Evergreen park is the largest park in the city and is one of four major parks in Haikou, first opening its gates on the 3rd January 1996. The park sits adjacent to Guomao.

People's Park is situated pretty centrally within Haikou city. The park is free to enter and will take around 2-3 hours to walk around its 350 acres.

Windsurfing, kiteboarding and sailing all take place on Xi xiu beach. There's also a few clubs along the beach for gear rentals and lessons.

The menu at Coconut House mainly consists of drinks and snacks made from fruits. One of the primary ingredients used is coconuts, hence the name “Coconut House”.

Qi lou snack street is perhaps the most famous snack street in all of Haikou. It is located right next to Haikou's historic old town and the perfect place to grab food after spending the day wandering around the arcade streets.

The market is best visited during early mornings and usually dies off around 11am. It's one of the oldest markets in Haikou and the best place to see real Hainanese style food market. Take your camera along because there's plenty to see.

The Mei she river Feng Xiang wetland park covers an area of around 200 acres and is capable of treating 5,000 tons of wastewater from the Mei she river each day. There are around 70,000 acres of wetland space in Haikou and 800,00 acres of wetlands throughout Hainan.
