Circular from the Haikou Novel Coronavirus Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters on Adjusting Risk Areas

According to the Provincial Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Prevention and Control Plan for the novel coronavirus (9th Edition) of the State Council for joint prevention and control of the novel coronavirus, the municipal epidemic prevention and control headquarters decided to adjust the risk areas of the whole city from August 16th, 2022.

After adjustment, there are 3 high-risk areas and 9 medium risk areas (see the attached table for details).

High risk areas are to take containment measures: stay at home with door-to-door service. If there are no new infection for 7 consecutive days, and all personnel in the risk area have completed a round of nucleic acid screening, on the seventh day, it will be reduced to a medium risk area. If there are no new infection for 3 consecutive days, it will be reduced to low-risk area.

Control measures to be taken in medium-risk areas: stay out of the area and stagger peak times. If there are no new infection for 7 consecutive days, and on the 7th day, all personnel in the risk area have completed a round of nucleic acid screening with negative results, will be reduced to a low-risk area.

The above measures will be implemented from August 16th, 2022, and will be adjusted according to the changes of epidemic situation.
