Haikou’s charming Qilou Old Street is preparing to for the upcoming 2023 Haikou Children’s Drama Carnival. Organized by the Hainan Performing Arts Group, the carnival promises a fascinating fusion of drama and the scenic allure of Haikou.

Spanning a 10-day period from August 18th to August 27th, the carnival will cover 14 commercial districts and 6 rural tourist destinations. With over 50 theatrical showcases, including immersive performances, children’s drama readings and actor interactions, the carnival seeks to spotlight the captivating essence of theatre. It offers residents and tourists a chance to explore Haikou’s aesthetic charm while absorbing the rich cultural and artistic tapestry.
