Housing Subsidy Policy for Talents in Hainan Province

In order to create a good living environment for talents, Hainan provides real estate grants, housing subsidies or house purchase subsidies to the following talents (excluding civil servants and selected students):

Master talents

Master talents can live in one talent apartment with no more than 200 square meters rent-free for 8 years. After 5 years of fulltime work, 80% of the property rights will be granted by the government, and after 8 years, 100% of the property rights will be granted.

Outstanding talents

Outstanding talents can live in one talent apartment with no more than 180 square meters and rent-free for 8 years. After 5 years of full-time work, 80% of the property rights will be granted by the government, and after 8 years of fulltime work, 100% of the property rights will be granted.

Grant for leading talents

Grant for leading talents can live in one talent apartment of no more than 150 square meters and rented free for 8 years. After 5 years of full-time work, 80% of the property rights will be granted by the government, and after 8 years of full time work, 100% of the property rights will be granted.

Top talents under 50 years old

Top talents under 50 years old (age limit may be relaxed for those in urgent need) can choose to enjoy housing rental subsidy according to the standard of 5000 Yuan/month with a subsidy period of no more than 36 months, or 60 thousand Yuan/year standard purchase subsidy, subsidy period does not exceed 3 years.

Other types of high-level talents under the age of 50 (including technical and skilled talents urgently needed, age restrictions may be appropriately relaxed for those urgently needed), can choose to enjoy housing rental subsidy according to 3000 Yuan/month, with a subsidy period not more than 36 months, or 36,000 Yuan/year purchase subsidy, subsidy period does not exceed 3 years.

Full-time master’s degree graduates under 40 years old and talents with intermediate professional and technical titles under 35 years old, can enjoy housing rental subsidy of 2000 Yuan/month, the subsidy period is not more than 36 months, or of 24,000 Yuan/year purchase subsidy, subsidy period is not more than 3 years.

Full-time undergraduate graduates under the age of 35, can enjoy a housing rental subsidy of 1500 Yuan/ month, the subsidy period is not more than 36 months or 18,000 Yuan/year purchase subsidy, subsidy period does not exceed 3 years.

All kinds of introduced talents will enjoy the same treatment as local residents when they purchase commercial residences from the date of settling in Hainan. High-level talents who are introduced flexibly can also enjoy the same treatment.
