In the Hainan FTP, how do materials submitted by foreign-invested partnership enterprises (FIPEs) vary by areas for partners or natural persons?
If Chinese partners are natural persons, copies of their identity certificates shall be submitted;
if Chinese partners are corporations or other organizations, copies of their business licenses/corporate registration certificates of public institutions/corporate registration certificates of social organizations/certificates of private non-corporate organizations affixed with their official seals shall be submitted as proof of subject qualification;
foreign partners shall submit their proof of subject qualification or identity certificates of natural persons and certificates of overseas domiciles to authorities of their own countries for notarization and to Chinese embassies (consulates) in such countries for certification;
if such countries have not yet established diplomatic relations with China, the preceding documents shall be submitted to embassies (consulates) of any third country with diplomatic relations with China and Chinese embassies (consulates) in the third country for certification;
documents issued by overseas territory of some countries shall be notarized in such territories, certified by diplomatic agencies of the countries and certified by Chinese embassies (consulates) in the countries;
and partners from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan shall submit their proof of subject qualification or identification and certificates of overseas domiciles with supporting legal documents notarized by local notary agencies in accordance with particular regulations or agreements.
