Is a company in the Hainan FTP required to set up a board of directors?
Not necessarily.
A limited liability company with a small number of shareholders or a small scale company may have an executive director and no board of directors. A wholly state-owned company shall have a board of directors. A joint stock limited company must have a board of directors.
