Sanya Launched Smartphone Replacement Consumer Voucher Campaign

On February 18th, it was announced that the Sanya Municipal Bureau of Commerce will distribute smartphone replacement consumer vouchers daily at 10:00 a.m. from February 19th to March 20th.

This campaign targets users located in Sanya. Consumers can access the “Sanya Municipal Government Consumption Subsidy” section through the “Government Consumption Voucher” icon on the UnionPay App to claim the vouchers. The vouchers are available in the following denominations:

Sanya to Launch Smartphone Replacement Consumer Voucher Campaign
  • 1,000 yuan off for purchases of 10,000 yuan or more,
  • 800 yuan off for purchases of 8,000 yuan or more,
  • 600 yuan off for purchases of 6,666 yuan or more.

After claiming the vouchers, consumers can use them at participating stores, including:

  • Xiaomi Home in Hainan Sanya Tianya District International Shopping Center,
  • Haitang Bay Duty-Free City Electronics Hall,
  • Haitang Bay Duty-Free City Apple Authorized Store,
  • Huawei (Summer Department Store), and others.

It is reported that these vouchers are only valid for purchasing new smartphones (single device, must be new, excluding second-hand phones). Each person can use one voucher to purchase one smartphone, and the vouchers cannot be used to buy other products.

Smartphones purchased with the voucher subsidy must be unboxed and activated on-site. After the cashier assists with activation, they must take photos of the SN code on the packaging box and the SN code displayed on the device itself, and retain transaction slips, invoices, and other relevant information.

Please note that the spending thresholds mentioned in this campaign, such as “10,000 yuan,” “8,000 yuan,” and “6,666 yuan,” specifically refer to the final sales price of the participating smartphone products after deducting all discounts provided by the merchant (including member prices, discounts, cashback, etc.) and promotional offers, but before applying the government consumption voucher.
