2022 Hainan Qixian Water Festival and first Rambutan Cultural Festival to be held in Baoting County

All events are subject to the developing epidemic situation in Hainan.

The Rambutan Cultural Festival will be launched on July 28th.

The 2022 Hainan Qixian Water Festival will be held from August 2nd to 4th.

The main venue of the event will be located in the County’s Qixian Square, with branch venues in Yanoda and Bingllang Valley Scenic Spots. 

The main venue activities include: special product and food exhibition, large-scale folk song and dance parties, holy water ceremony, opening ceremony for the water festival, traditional folk water carnival, national traditional sports competitions, “intangible cultural heritage” skills display and market, “Gan Gong Bird” large-scale original folk dance drama.

Activities for the Yanoda branch venue include: opening ceremony, light show, beer and food festival, creative market, open-air movies and camping etc.

Activities of the Pinanggu branch venue include: opening ceremony, Li costume catwalk, the national water carnival, and intangible cultural heritage display.

The theme of the first Rambutan Cultural Festival is “Bao Ting’s Brightness and Becoming Popular”.

The event time is from July 28th to the middle and late August.

Activities include the launching ceremony of the Rambutan Cultural Festival, Baoting Modern Agriculture Cooperation and Development Forum, Tropical Rainforest Fashion Show, Red Fire Market, Red Fire Camping, Red Fire Open Wheat, Rambutan Sweet Fluorescent Run, Investment Signing and Micro Films.
