2nd Hainan Island International Film Festival officially open new industry section H!Market

The 2nd Hainan Island International Film Festival officially opens a new industry section named H!Market.

It will become a permanent section of the Festival along with the competition, screening and pitch sections. Similar to other international film markets. H!Market will include an exhibition area for participants to set up booths, industry screenings to facilitate sales, and panels and network events for attendees to connect and exchange ideas.

Registration is currently open and will close on October 20. 

H! Market aims to create a comprehensive, international industry platform for the convergence of high-quality international industry resources and to promote local resources.

It also aims to become a new stopover point in the international film market, linking the global markets with the Asian market.

“Market Show”

The market exhibition can accommodate 150-200 film and television company booths. The exhibition will be divided into special zones, a comprehensive film and television zone, literary IP industry zone, international film committee and foundation zone, location sites and a film and television base zone, and strive to aggregate core resources to meet industry’s needs.

“Industry screening”

H!Market hopes to create a professional international industry projection platform for opening up publicity and distribution, international copyright trading and film festival barriers, and explore possibilities for industry screenings in Asia within the international market.

“Literature IP Industry Special”

H!Market is committed to promoting new hotspots in the industry. The literary IP industry specializes in front end industrial processes, aiming to help literary IP to complete incubation and development of film and television, and to build a bridge between literary copyright dealers, film and television production companies, and film and television platform companies. 

H!Market Market Exhibition will set up a special area to aggregate domestic literature IP copyright companies, matching multi-activity activities to film and television industry buyers.
