Meng Lei, general manager of Hainan Haizhi General Aviation Co., Ltd. Said that “after the release of the overall plan for the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, we have been very optimistic about the development of Hainan. Now we have successfully imported the first ‘zero-tariff’ aircraft, which has significantly reduced costs for our company and increased confidence in the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.”
According to the policy, companies that are registered in the Hainan Free Trade Port and are legally independent, engaged in transportation and tourism, can import vehicles, aircraft, ships and yachts that meet the requirements of the “zero tariff” positive list of vehicles and yachts.
Prior to this, Hainan Free Trade Port has had “zero-tariff” imported cars, yachts, and ships cleared for customs.
