Family fun at the Hainan Tourism Carnival this weekend

The opening ceremony of the Hainan International Tourism Island Happy Festival will be held at 20:00 on December 10 in Haikou Century Park.

The opening ceremony will kick off a 3-day festival that will be held in the park and activities will run from 10-12 December 16:00 – 22:00.

Throughout the festival, a number of performances will be held such as a children’s magic show, cultural performances, a light show, soccer tournaments, and more.

Children’s Magic show

A children’s interactive magic performance “Magic Castle Adventure Tour” will be staged on 10 December.

During the carnival, a number of cultural performances will be shown such as “Happy Hainan building dreams of youth” on 11 December.

On the evening of 12 December the “New journey, positive youth” theatrical performance will be shown.

Light show at the Wormhole Library

Throughout a “Light and Shadow” show will light up the Wormhole library in Century Park, transforming it into an ocean of colorful lights.

The carnival will also host the warm-up event of the “2022 2nd Hainan Splendid Embroidery World Culture Week” during which a number of Li and Miao clothing products will be on display at the cultural market.

Haikong Duty-Free and CDF Duty-Free will hand out a variety of small gifts and Ctrip, Meituan, Tuniu, Qunar, Fliggy will set up broadcast rooms to sell Hainan tourism products.

Throughout the 3 day festival, there will be the opportunity to grab a variety of Hainan travel products, as well as ultra-low discount tickets and coupons for Hainan hotels.
