Haikou issues notice on adjusting high, medium risk areas

The Haikou Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters revised the risk areas of Haikou City on August 11th, 2022

After the revision, there are now 8 high-risk areas and 4 medium-risk areas.

High-risk areas close and control measures: stay at home and remain indoors. If there are no new infections for 7 consecutive days, and all personnel in the risk area have completed nucleic acid screening with negative results, on the 7th day, will be reduced to a medium risk area; no new infections for 3 consecutive days will be reduced to a low-risk area.

Control measures for medium-risk areas: do not leave the area and stagger peak times. If there are no new infections for 7 consecutive days, and all personnel in the risk area have completed nucleic acid screening with negative results, on the 7th day, will be reduced to a low-risk area.

The above measures will be implemented from August 11th, 2022 and will be adjusted in due course according to the changes in the epidemic prevention and control situation. 

Residents in high and medium-risk areas can call the Haikou 12345 service hotline if they encounter difficulties in life and medical treatment.
