Haikou issues notice on adjusting high, medium risk areas

After the revision, there are now 8 high-risk areas and 4 medium-risk areas.

High-risk areas close and control measures: stay at home and remain indoors. If there are no new infections for 7 consecutive days, and all personnel in the risk area have completed nucleic acid screening with negative results, on the 7^th day, will be reduced to a medium risk area; no new infections for 3 consecutive days will be reduced to a low-risk area.

Control measures for medium-risk areas: do not leave the area and stagger peak times. If there are no new infections for 7 consecutive days, and all personnel in the risk area have completed nucleic acid screening with negative results, on the 7^th day, will be reduced to a low-risk area.

The above measures will be implemented from August 11^th, 2022 and will be adjusted in due course according to the changes in the epidemic prevention and control situation. 

Residents in high and medium-risk areas can call the Haikou 12345 service hotline if they encounter difficulties in life and medical treatment.
