Teachers from Hainan University garnered multiple prizes at the recent Hainan division of the National Teaching Innovation Competition for Teachers from Institutions of Higher Education.
The course “Introduction to Li Bai”, given by the team led by professor Hai Bin from the College of Humanities and Communications, won first prize and will represent Hainan province in the national face-off to be held in Fudan University in July.
The course “Theory and Practice of Smart Tourism” , developed by a team led by Cao Yang from the College of Tourism, won second prize. In addition, HNU was granted the Grassroots Teaching Organization Award.
Held at school, provincial and national levels, the competition is organized by the China Association of Higher Education to improve teaching quality in institutions of higher education.
