Zhang Zhao, Ph.D., associate professor at Hainan University, synthesis and graduation thesis writing

Hi, I’m Zhang Zhao, Ph.D., associate professor at Hainan University and I mainly teach courses such as intermediate synthesis, advanced synthesis, and graduation thesis writing for Chinese language majors.

Intermediate comprehensive courses and advanced comprehensive courses are language skills courses for Chinese language majors, which cultivate students’ comprehensive skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

The course adopts multimedia teaching, a combination of teaching and student discussion, to cultivate students’ practical ability to use language.

The graduation thesis writing class is aimed at international students, explaining in detail various problems encountered in the graduation thesis process, and requiring students to practice writing for the course.

This course enables students to understand the writing process for the graduation thesis to be able to complete the thesis on time.

The main teachers for the Chinese language major at Hainan University are all PhDs in linguistics-related majors, with solid theoretical foundations and rich teaching experience.

The major adopts small class teaching, which focuses on the learning and living conditions of each student in a timely manner and can give appropriate guidance and care.

Hainan is located in the South China Sea, with a beautiful environment, fresh air and pleasant climate.

Taking advantage of the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, international students can realise their ambitions in Hainan after completing their studies.
