2019 Hainan International Film Festival to be held Dec 1st to Dec 8th

The 2019 Hainan Island International Film Festival has been set to take place between December 1 and December 8 this year in Sanya.

With the aim of enhancing the festival’s credibility and authority in the industry, the 2nd edition of the festival will launch a competition section with the top awards named Golden Coconut.

The competition section includes three categories, namely narrative feature, documentary feature and narrative short.

Winners of Golden Coconut will also receive cash awards. The 2019 call for entries will open on June 1 to films from all around the world.
