Haikou issues notice on 1 new confirmed case of COVID-19

In the early morning of August 1st, 2021, Mrs Hu from Nanbao Garden, Jinpan, Longhua District, Haikou City, tested positive for the nucleic acid of the new coronavirus, and was immediately transferred to a designated hospital for isolation and treatment.

The laboratory for the Provincial and Municipal Centres for Disease Control and Prevention reviewed the results of the nucleic acid test and confirmed the positive result.

The positive result triggered city emergency plans which include isolation treatment and epidemiological investigation, tracking and management of relevant contacts, and other measures such as closed management.

According to the investigation, Mrs Hu’s activities since her return to Haikou are as follows:

On July 19, she took flight HU7059, seat 45C, and left Haikou for Jingzhou City.

From July 20th to 27th, she resided in Jingzhou City.

At 15:35 on July 27th, Mrs. Hu took the D362 (07 car 6F seat) from Jingzhou and arrived at Hankou at 16:50.

She took the G6889 (4 car 3F seat) from Hankou Station at 17:34 and arrived at Tianhe Airport at 17:48.

She flew to Haikou by Air China CA8235 (seat 20J), and was picked up by private car back to her Jinpan residence.

On July 28th, she travelled by e-bike to Jinpan Haixin Huating’s Jinheng Tea Garden in Longhua District for breakfast.

Around 17:00 in the afternoon, she, went to the China Mobile shop in Jinpan Jinbi Yayuan in Longhua District.

On July 29th, at around 8 o’clock AM, she drove to an opening ceremony of a military summer camp for children, close to Mission Hills Fire Station.

On July 30th, she went to the Endocrinology Department of Hainan Provincial People’s Hospital for blood sampling by e-bike at around 8 o’clock.

At around 11 o’clock, she went to the Toupu market to buy vegetables.

At around 15:00, she went to Jincheng Yipin at Jinhua West Road and the sales department of Jinhu No. 1 Jinken Road, and then returned home.

On July 31st, she rode an electric bike to the Endocrinology Department of Hainan Provincial People’s Hospital at about 9 o’clock, and went home at about 11:30

At 14:49, she took an e-bike to the Haikou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital for nucleic acid testing.

At about 16:40, she and a friend went to Chuangye Xincun Community at Jinpan, Zhongsha Road, and then returned home after about 5-10 minutes.

Important tips:

If the general public has a history of contact with Mrs Hu during this period or those who have overlapping or overlapping activity tracks, do not go out, use personal protection, and immediately report to the local prevention and control work headquarters or disease control agency, and wait for the staff to carry out nucleic acid tests.

Actively cooperated with the community to implement corresponding epidemic control measures.
