Haikou issues notification on 4 new cases of positive COVID infection

On July 9th, 2022, four new coronavirus positive cases were found in Haikou City. They were close contacts of nucleic acid positive personnel reported in Guangzhou on July 8th.

Basic information

The four infected persons are colleagues.

They all work at a construction site on CLS Haikou wan square and live in Room 405, No. 80 Renmin Xili, Haidian people’s street, Meilan District.

On June 30th, they travelled to Haikou from Xuwen on the same boat as the positive personnel reported in Guangzhou on July 8th.

The time periods and places involved in the above-mentioned infected persons are as follows:

June 30th

8:45-11:45, took a boat (Yongji) from Xuwen to Xiuying Port in Haikou;

Took a taxi to their residence around 12:20;

Around 13:20, Wuzai restaurant next to the residence;

Around 13:30 CLS Haikou wan Square construction site;

22:00 There is a drinks shop next to the residence.

July 1st

Around 6:00, breakfast shop beside the construction site of CLS Haikou Bay Plaza;

6:10-11:30 CLS Haikou Bay Plaza construction site;

Fast food restaurant next to the construction site around 11:40;

12:00-18:00, CLS Haikou Bay Square construction site;

Around 18:00, Wuzai Restaurant next to their residence.

July 2nd

Around 12:00, Wuzai restaurant next to their residence;

Around 17:50, hotel next to their residence.

July 3rd

July 7th

A roadside fast food restaurant next to the construction site around 11:00;

12:00-18:00, CLS Haikou Bay Square construction site;

Around 19:40, hotel canteen next to their residence;

Returned home around 19:50.

July 8th

6:45 Breakfast restaurant on the way to work;

6:50-11:00, CLS Haikou Bay Plaza construction site;

A roadside fast food restaurant next to the construction site around 11:00;

12:00-19:00, CLS Haikou Bay Square construction site;

Around 19:40, the hotel canteen next to the residence;

Returned home around 19:50.

Temporary closure and control of No. 80, Renmin Xili, Renmin Street.

From 12:00 noon on July 9, nucleic acid screening will be carried out in the Haidian Island area.

The general public is requested to fulfill their statutory obligations in accordance with the relevant provisions of the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases” and the “Emergency Response Law of the People’s Republic of China”, actively cooperate with the implementation of relevant measures such as epidemic control and investigation, and obey the unified arrangements of the government and the community for nucleic acid detection.
