Hainan Airlines plans to launch a new nonstop service between Haikou and London Heathrow starting May 7, 2025. The route will be operated using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and will run once a week on Wednesdays. The flight schedule is as follows:
- HU7911: Departs Haikou (HAK) at 13:40 and arrives in London Heathrow (LHR) at 19:30.
- HU7912: Departs London Heathrow (LHR) at 22:00 and arrives in Haikou (HAK) at 14:70 the following day.
This new route complements an existing twice-weekly service between Haikou, Changsha, and London Heathrow. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner offers advanced features, including reduced noise, enhanced cabin pressurization, and improved fuel efficiency, making it suitable for long-haul flights.
