Hainan Wave Bay Golf Course is an international championship standard golf course located in Chengmai county, around 50 minutes by car from Haikou downtown and 40 minutes by car from Haikou Meilan International Airport along the expressway. It’s a world class golf leisure and tourism resort.
The course was designed by CJ Tan from Malaysia with unique features blending into the natural terrain, fairways radiate from the club house and the play is clear and smooth. The fairway runs 7250 yards with the combination of hazards including rivers, lakes and bunkers, the golf course is full of challenges and is a pleasure for golfers to play.
18 different tropical fruit trees have been planted in both sides of 18 holes, and each hole was named after a different fruit. Fairways are challenging and the greens are fast..
The Golf course was constructed in strict accordance with USGA standards, over 100,000 square meter of river sand was use to make sure the drainage and aeration are perfect, fairway hardness and elasticity also reach international level.
