Hainan Open International Classic Cars Rally 2024: A Must-See Event for Car Enthusiasts

The Hainan Open International Classic Cars Rally 2024 offers a unique opportunity to experience a world-class automotive event right here in your backyard. Running from November 13th to November 25th, the rally will showcase an array of vintage vehicles, dating from 1910 to 1974, as they tour the island’s tropical landscapes.

Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just looking for a fun weekend activity, the event promises something for everyone. With participants from around the globe, the rally will bring 70 classic cars to Hainan, making stops at some of the island’s most iconic locations, including Sanya, Qiongzhong, Haikou, Bo’ao, and Wanning.

Spectator Highlights

As a spectator, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to see these magnificent cars up close. Here’s what to look out for:

Static Exhibitions (November 22-24): The perfect chance to view the cars in a relaxed setting, where they’ll be displayed at key locations on the island. This is your opportunity to admire vehicles from as far back as 1910.

The Grand Start (November 17th): Experience the excitement as the rally kicks off in Sanya. The starting ceremony will feature all the participating vehicles, followed by a journey across the island.

City Tours and Drives: Throughout the event, the classic cars will pass through various towns and scenic routes, giving you the chance to catch them in action as they drive through Hainan’s tropical landscapes.

Event Schedule for Spectators

November 16th: Sanya City Tour – see the cars roll through the city before the official start of the rally.

November 17th-21st: Watch the cars depart each day from various locations, starting in Sanya and ending in Wanning, as they journey across the island.

November 22nd-24th: Attend the static exhibition in Sanya, where the cars will be on full display for several days, offering a great opportunity to see the details of these vintage masterpieces up close.

November 14th: formalities and race training; official welcome dinner in the evening

November 15th: vehicle preparation; technical and administrative checks;

November 16th: Sanya City Tour

November 17th: starting ceremony; first day of the journey from Sanya to Qiongzhong

November 18th: second day of journey from Qiongzhong to Haikou

November 19th: day three of the journey from Haikou to Bo’ao

November 20th: day four of the journey from Bo’ao to Wanning

November 21st: fifth day of the journey from Wanning to Sanya
