At 06:40 on October 24th, 2022, the Hainan Provincial Meteorological Bureau issued a Level III rainstorm warning.
Affected by an easterly jet stream, it is estimated that in the next 24 hours, some towns and townships in Qiongzhong, Qionghai, Wanning, Lingshui and other cities and counties in Hainan Island will experience precipitation of more than 100 mm, and some towns and townships in Tunchang, Wuzhishan, Baoting, Sanya and other cities and counties will experience precipitation of more than 50 mm.
