The Haikou maternity and child health care Hospital Jiangdong branch has started construction
The Haikou maternity and child health care Hospital (Jiangdong branch) held a groundbreaking ceremony on January 8.
After the project is completed, there will be 500 new hospital beds improving hospital infrastructure in the Jiangdong New Area and vastly improving the medical conditions for women and children.
The project is located east of the Affiliated Middle School of Hainan Normal University along the Nandu River.
It covers an area of about 101.43 acres, with a total construction area of about 121,867 square meters.
The construction of the outpatient and medical technology complex building, inpatient building, science and education complex building, basement and outdoor supporting auxiliary projects are scheduled for completion in June 2023.
Haikou Jiangdong New Area Drinking Water Plant Project
The Jiangdong New Area High-quality drinking water plant is the first sunken water plant in China.
It has an overall design scale of 400,000 cubic meters of water per day.
Construction started on June 18, 2020, and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
Upon completion, the project will guarantee high-quality drinking water for 400,000 people in the near future and 1 million people in the long term.
