There are 150 seafood retail stalls, 88 seafood processing stalls, 40 speciality food stalls, 3 medium-sized single-family boutiques and 7 small-row specialities. This makes it one of the largest seafood squares in Haikou.
The fun begins with buying the seafood, live and straight from the water tanks. After purchasing, head to one of the nearby restaurants and they will cook your food. Prices for cooking are based per 500 grams of food and per shell for larger items. Foods such as lobster and crab may cost more.
