World Taekwondo Federation Spectacular Taekwondo Competition, Haikou Nov 24-27

The event, organised by the World Taekwondo Federation, the Asian Taekwondo Union, and jointly supported by the Chinese Taekwondo Association, Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television, and Sports, and the People’s Government of Haikou, will host over 600 participants hailing from China, South Korea, Mongolia, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau and more.

Location for opening ceremony: Sky Mountain, Haikou (天空之山海滨驿站), Friday 24th 7:30 pm.

Event location: NBA Basketball Training Centre in Haikou.” (NBA 海口|篮球训练中心)

Established in 2009, this esteemed team consists of exceptional Taekwondo practitioners from various corners of the world. They skilfully blend Taekwondo techniques with music, dance, and diverse cultural elements, resulting in breath-taking stage performances that showcase the unique artistry of Taekwondo.

The team has garnered prestigious awards, including gold medals at talent shows in the United States, France, and Italy. They have also been invited to perform at distinguished venues and events such as the United Nations Headquarters, the International Olympic Committee, the Olympic Games, and the Youth Olympic Games. Serving as a significant ambassador for the global promotion of Taekwondo culture, the WT Demonstration Team is widely regarded by audiences as a thrilling blend of sports and entertainment.

During the opening ceremony of the event, the WT Demonstration Team will captivate the audience at Sky Mountain Haikou, as special guest performers, showcasing their remarkable skills as they perform gravity-defying stunts.
