On August 27, Haikou’s key exhibition project information conference was held. Data released at the conference showed that Haikou has entered the peak season for exhibitions.
In the second half of 2021 Haikou will host 213 conferences and 15 exhibitions above a designated size.
By the end of 2021 a total of 510 events, conferences will have been held throughout the year, an increase of 60% from 2020 and 57% from 2019.
By the end of 2021 Haikou will have held 26 exhibitions with an exhibition area of around 827,760 square meters a 42% increase compared with 2020.
According to the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, this year Haikou’s convention and exhibition industry has continued to grow and develop.
Significant results have been achieved in terms of venue construction, exhibition scale, industry income, quantity and quality of exhibition activities, policy environment, management level, supporting services and talent team building.
