As of March 30, 2022, three new cases have tested positive for the nucleic acid test in Haikou City. Two of which were found in centralised isolation points, which were close contacts of the confirmed case found in Haikou on March 29.
Two of the cases have been clinically diagnosed as asymptomatic infections of the new coronavirus. One case was clinically diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (mild) while waiting for the results of the on-the-ground inspection, and they have been transferred to designated hospitals.
Asymptomatic case one
Male, in close contact with Case 1 which happened in Haikou on March 29, living address: Xiuzhong Community, Haibo Market, No. 18 Xiuying Avenue, living with 2 people (mother and father), vaccinated with 3 doses of the new crown vaccine.
As a close contact on March 29, he was transferred to the Greenland QUBE Hotel for centralized isolation.
On March 30, the result of the review by the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention was positive, and he was transferred to a designated hospital. The medical expert team has diagnosed the case as an asymptomatic infection of the new coronavirus.
Asymptomatic case two
Male, in close contact with Case 1 which happened in Haikou on March 29, came to Hainan from Shanghai on March 24.
After the landing inspection, two samplings were taken at the sampling points in Haikou on the 28th and 29th, and the test results were all negative.
On March 29, as he was a close contact, he was transferred to the Greenland Platinum Q Hotel for centralized isolation, and the initial nucleic acid test result was single positive (N+).
On March 30, the result of the review by the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention was positive. At present, he has been transferred to a designated hospital, and the medical expert team has diagnosed the case as an asymptomatic infection of the new coronavirus.
Case of new coronary pneumonia (mild)
Male, Shi Laiqiong living in Shanghai (took a train from Shanghai to Haikou via Zhengzhou on March 28).
Shi Laiqiong had been vaccinated with 3 doses of the new crown vaccine. He had nucleic acid tests on March 18 and 19, 22, 25, 26, and 28 which all showed negative.
On March 30, the initial nucleic acid screening result of the on-the-ground inspection at Haikou Railway Station was positive, and he was transferred to a designated hospital.
The result of the review by the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention was positive, and the medical expert team diagnosed a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (mild).
