At around 13:30 on September 17, the return capsule of the Shenzhou 12 manned spacecraft landed safely in the area of Dongfeng landing field.
As soon as the return capsule touched the ground and the cabin door was opened, medical supervision personnel checked the condition of the astronauts.
The three astronauts Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming, Tang Hongbo made a safe, smooth exit and are all in good physical condition.
The Dongfeng Landing Site for the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center is the backup landing site for manned missions.
The Shenzhou 12 manned spacecraft was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on June 17 and successively docked with the Tianhe core module to form an assembly.
The three astronauts were stationed in the core module for a three-month stay. During the orbiting flight, two astronauts exited the cabin to carry out a series of space experiments and technical tests.
The success of the Shenzhou 12 manned mission has laid a solid foundation for the construction and operation of the space station.
