The 2025 Hainan (Sanya) Marathon will hit the streets of Sanya on December 28, bringing with it elite competition, national recognition, and global exposure.

This prestigious event is Gold Label certified by the Chinese Athletics Association (CAA) and will follow Class A standards, making it one of the top-tier marathons in China. Finish times will be officially recorded in the CAA database, qualifying athletes for national road running rankings and even potential national record status.

Beyond the race itself, the marathon doubles as a high-profile showcase for Sanya, promoting the city through live broadcasts, media coverage, and social media buzz. National champions, star athletes, and major influencers are expected to take part—helping to amplify Sanya’s presence both across China and worldwide.
