Announcement: Starting from October 10th, Sanya will introduce “electronic traffic policing”

Announcement from the Traffic Police Detachment of the Sanya Public Security Bureau on the Addition of Mobile Traffic Electronic Police Devices

“In order to ensure fair and transparent law enforcement, in accordance with Article 16 of the “Procedures for Handling Road Traffic Safety Violations,” the types of traffic violations that will be captured using mobile traffic electronic police devices and their locations are announced as follows:”

I. Types of Captured Violations:

1. Motor vehicles disobeying prohibition line instructions.

2. Motor vehicles violating rules on using designated lanes.

II. Locations of Bus Lane Camera Installations:

1. Yingbin Road (From Luobidong Road to Jiyang Avenue).

2. Fenghuang Road (From Yuxin Road to Haihong Road).

3. Yuya Road (From Goling Road to Jiyang Avenue).

4. Jiyang Avenue (From Yuya Road to the interchange with the Ring Expressway).

5. Haiyu West Line (From Haihong Road to the Passenger West Station).

III. Scope of Application of Traffic Electronic Police Devices:

1. Motor vehicles disobeying prohibition line instructions (Applicable at all times/Throughout the entire city).

2. Motor vehicles violating rules on using designated lanes (Applicable on roads with bus lanes/Every day from 7:30 to 8:30 and from 17:30 to 19:00).

IV. Activation Date of Traffic Electronic Police Devices:

Starting from 00:00 on October 10th, 2023.
