Notice from the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Education on resuming classes for schools and kindergartens at all levels in Haikou city.
The Headquarters for Epidemic Prevention and Control issued an announcement that all schools, kindergartens, educational and training institutions (including provincial, municipal and district) in Haikou should resume classes on April 11th.
In order to strengthen the health monitoring of teachers, students and employees returning to school the following conditions are issued:
1. From April 1st to 10th, students and staff who have no history of living in epidemic related areas (including those who have not left Haikou during this period, and those who have left Haikou but have not been to other epidemic related cities and counties in the province) can return to school with a negative nucleic acid test certificate taken within 48 hours prior to return.
2. From April 1st, teachers, students and employees who have lived in other epidemic related cities and counties in Hainan Province (Qionghai, Wanning, Danzhou, etc.) may return to school with two negative nucleic acid tests taken within 48 hours prior to return (taken 24 hours apart).
3. Teachers and students who do not fit into the above two situations, and teachers and students who have lived in Sanya and Lingshui from April 1st to 10th shall suspend their return to school and strictly implement the relevant control requirements.
All schools should take the initiative to connect with students and make online teaching arrangements.
